Karena itulah Asosiasi Sepak Bola Inggris akan menggunakan teknologi ini di musim depan.Seperti dilansir Dailymail, Jumat (1/3), Direktur Komunikasi Liga Inggris, Dan Johnson mengatakan bahwa klub-klub tidak boleh menolak usulan ini, tapi juga biaya pemasangan teknologi ini tak akan membebani klub karena biayanya akan diambil dari keuntungan hak siar televisi.
Kini Asosiasi Sepak Bola Inggris sedang mengadakan pembicaraan dengan dua penyedia teknologi ini yakni Hawkeye dan Goalref.Selain itu FIFA juga akan menggunakan teknologi ini untuk Piala Konfederasi 2013 dan Piala Dunia 2014.
